This cacao is produced on the hills of the Rwenzori mountain range by smallholder farmers. The unique combination of climate, soil and environment result in a chocolaty profile, with a complex flavour sensation of fruits, flowers, spices and roasted notes of coffee and cacao.

Cacao grows under shade trees and is intercropped with food crops and other cash crops like coffee, vanilla, nuts and fruits trees with only organic fertilizers and no pesticides.
