Thursday 8th july 2021 we were very proud to get Awarded with Soil Association Boom best of organic market awards 2021 in partnership with OCADO.
The jury, composed of expert members of the Soil Association awards committee. Honored our Premium Organic Single Estate Dominican Republic 81% cacao with the best organic chocolate Gold winner.
International Awards from Academy of chocolate with the bronze winner 2021 for the category bean-to-bar saisoned.
Judges comments:
Premium organic single estate Mountains of the moon UGANDA 81% cacao.
A very well crafted bar, beautifully moulded, good shine, even colour, good snap. Rich enticing aroma on the nose, clean and fragrant with concentrated notes of stone fruits also some floral / meadow notes along with sweet warm spice. Rich, smooth yielding melt. On the palate the salt is well judged with not of wood, black tea, exotic floral and roasted nuts coming through but savoury at the same time.
Moderate length of flavour.
